On board of a Fascinating ship

26th August 2009

Today is the last day onboard of Fascination. We sail through the sea to make it back to Jacksonville, her homeport. She has seen a few places; she has met a few hundred people. Has Benn home, has been paradise and hell and for college 17 she has been a whole new experience u
Incomparable to anything we have yet known.
There was the beginning, the middle and the end. There were good moments and not so good moments, the moments you can share with people around you and the ones that are only yours to keep.
We all come to this ship as individuals, expecting something and kindly Fascination gives something back to its explorers.
She gives you special seconds, minutes, hours, she gives you the wind blowing on your face while the horizon surrounds you, she gives you the most beautiful brightest stars, constellations, centuries of history shinning above you in the middle of the night, she gives you music, and she gives you loneliness and peace. She gives you the best and the worst of people. She gives you the world, a floating world, a world that is never dull, never quiet for too long. She may not be what you want her to be. But she IS.
And she will rock College 17 souls tonight taking each and every one of us, individually to a new destination
